Rivalry between Buckeyes and Wolverines burning bright
We already knew that Twitter has become an emerging factor in college football recruiting. But never before have we seen a letter from a school be set on fire.
Class of 2013 offensive tackle Logan Tuley-Tillman, who verbally committed to Michigan in February, set fire to a letter from rival Ohio State and posted the photo of the burning mail on the social-networking site.
Besides Ohio State, the 6-7, 314-pound Peoria Manual High School (Peoria, IL) star had offers from Missouri, Notre Dame, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma State and Iowa, among other major powers.
You thought that the recruiting rivalry between Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke and first-year Buckeyes boss Urban Meyer wasn't going to be heated? Think again.
Both Michigan and Ohio State are comprising strong classes for 2013, but Tuley-Tillman and the Wolverines currently have the edge in most early national team recruiting rankings.
