Top recruit Foster set to make his commitment

One of the more unpredictable recruitments in recent memory will come to an end Monday night when Class of 2013 Auburn High School (Auburn, AL) inside linebacker Reuben Foster will announce his college decision on Fox Sports South's The NEW College Football Show at 10 p.m. ET.

The 6-2, 242-pound Foster is expected to choose between Auburn, Alabama and Georgia despite also taking visits to Washington and San Diego State.

Arguably the nation's No. 1 inside linebacker, Foster committed to the Crimson Tide in July 2011 before flipping his commitment to Auburn in July 2012. Then, roughly four months later, Tigers head coach Gene Chizik was dismissed and several other Auburn commits rescinded their pledges. When assistant coach Trooper Taylor was not retained, Foster announced that he would re-open his recruitment.

Foster is one of the better tacklers in this class, and he has good size and strength as well as the speed to go from sideline-to-sideline. Physically, he is ready for the next level and the SEC.

Also announcing on the program Monday night will be top Florida running back prospect Alex Collins, whose favorites reportedly are Arkansas and Miami (FL).
