Top WR recruit Seals-Jones decommits from Texas

Ricky Seals-Jones, arguably the top wide receiver nationally in the Class of 2013, has decommitted from Texas.

The five-star recruit, who originally picked Texas over LSU back in February, had participated with the rest of the Longhorns' 2013 recruiting class at the school's first summer camp on Sunday. The question now is whether he decommitted because of his desire to play basketball at the next level, an option that LSU and Baylor have reportedly given him. It is also just as possible that he recommits to the Longhorns at a later date after further weighing his options.

The 6-5, 220-pounder from Sealy High School (Sealy, TX) played on both sides of the ball last year as a junior. As a receiver, he can out-jump defenders and make plays vertically down the field while also being effective as a possession receiver. He could be an ideal weapon on fade routes in the red zone.

Texas now has 14 verbal commitments for its 2013 class, including in-state receivers Jacorey Warrick and Jake Oliver.
