Who will start at QB for the Gators?

Florida head coach Will Muschamp is unsure who will start at quarterback for the Gators when they play at Auburn on Saturday.

With John Brantley remaining sidelined due to injury, true freshmen Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel are the two main options, with Brissett having a start at LSU last week under his belt because Driskel was nursing a sprained ankle. Muschamp said that both signal-callers are taking almost an equal amount of reps in practice and both could either start or play against the Tigers. Both will continue to be evaluated throughout the week.

Driskel's ankle injury could put Brissett in the best position to receive a second consecutive start, although he has not been limited in practice and has taken more reps this week than he did last week.

Coordinator Charlie Weis certainly would love to know who his starter will be so he can game plan based off of each quarterback's strengths, but neither signal-caller has wowed the coaching staff. A lot of that has to do with the fact that they saw action against Alabama and LSU, the two toughest defenses in the nation.

But such is life in the SEC.
