DeSean Jackson update
After suffering a brutal hit in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons that forced him to miss one game, Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson returned to practice on Wednesday.
Per the Eagles’ official injury report, D-Jax was listed as a “full participant” for Wednesday’s practice session.
What’s even better is that head coach Andy Reid informed the media Wednesday morning that Jackson has passed all of his concussion tests and is cleared to play. However, owners are advised to remember that this does not officially mean Jackson will start on Sunday when the Birds host the Indianapolis Colts.
The team will continue to monitor the veteran receiver’s progress and will likely make a decision on his Week 9 status later in the week.
In six games this season, D-Jax has caught 19 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns. He’s also picked up 67 yards and a score on six carries.
We’ll keep you posted.
