Dolphins interested in Bryant, says agent
Is the market for Antonio Bryant finally starting to heat up?
The free agent wide receiver met with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, and now there’s a report that another team may be entering the mix.
The Miami Dolphins.
Per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Bryant’s agent Lamont Smith said that the Fish have expressed interest in the 29-year-old wideout.
While this could be a ploy by Smith to drum up some more interest in his client, it isn’t that far fetched to think Miami could be serious about adding Bryant to the roster.
The Dolphins ranked 20th in the NFL in passing last season (192.1 yds/gm) and had only one receiver catch more than 50 passes on the year (Davone Bess).
In addition, the 6’1” Bryant could add some help to the Dolphins’ red zone passing attack. Miami ranked 18th in the NFL last year in red zone touchdowns, with 13.
