Former PSU quarterback lands in Washington
Daryll Clark—one of the most prolific passers in Penn State history—signed a rookie free agent deal with the Washington Redskins on Sunday, per a report from Andrew Cassavell of the Daily Collegian.
The 6-2, 233-pound Clark is Penn State’s all-time leader in career touchdown passes (43), single-season touchdown passes (24) and single-season passing yards (3,003). The senior signal-caller finished his Nittany Lion career with a 22-4 record as a starter.
Clark joins a Redskins offense that already has four other quarterbacks on the depth chart, including Donovan McNabb, Rex Grossman, Colt Brennan and Richard Bartel.
Former starter Jason Campbell was traded to the Oakland Raiders on Saturday.
