Giants stomping Seahawks into the ground
This game is the definition of the word “blowout.”
After two quarters of football in the Pacific Northwest, the New York Giants lead the Seattle Seahawks 35-0. The Giants have racked up 298 total yards and have yet to punt the football.
Meanwhile, Pete Carroll’s team hasn’t exactly used the first 30 minutes of football to accomplish very much (other than to establish the fact that they aren’t very good). The Seahawks already committed three turnovers and have recorded just 81 yards of offense.
They’ve also been flagged five times for 41 yards.
In a first half filled with superstar play from several different members of the Giants roster, quarterback Eli Manning gets the game ball. Peyton’s younger brother has completed 17 of 21 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions for a QB rating of 152.3.
Word on the street is that both teams are still expected to come out and play the second half.
