Giants win coin flip, continue hot streak vs. Jets

The New York Giants have won four-straight meetings against the New York Jets dating back to 1996.

On Monday, Big Blue got another win against their New York/New Jersey rivals.

The Giants won the secret coin toss that was held today for the right to host the first home game at the teams’ brand-new stadium, according to Gary Myers of the New York Daily News (per a tweet from Rich Cimini).

The new stadium—which has not yet been named—opens this season.

In a related story, Jets owner Woody Johnson is reportedly “outraged” that his team had no representation present at the coin flip, according to Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News.

No report as of yet on whether or not this historic moment featured a best of three format.
