Good to go: Pryor eligible for supplemental draft
After much deliberation, former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been declared eligible for the 2011 supplemental draft, per a tweet from Adam Schefter of ESPN.
ICONPryor has been cleared to join the NFL.
The supplemental draft is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 22.
But it’s not all roses and champagne for the 6-6, 233-pound quarterback from Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Schefter is also reporting that the former Buckeye won’t be able to practice prior to or play in the first five games of the regular season, but will be permitted to show up at his future team’s training facility for meetings.
Pryor now has three days to organize a Pro Day workout so that any teams interested in acquiring his services can get a good look at what kind of shape he’s in before possibly making a big investment on Monday.
We’ll put this one to you guys: If you were an NFL general manager, how high of a draft pick would you be willing to spend on Terrelle Pryor?
