Home field is king in the NFC

CAUTION: Vikings fans may not like what they are about to read.

Home field advantage has dominated in the NFC this postseason. Home teams have not only won each of the four NFC playoff games, but are 4-0 against the spread as well.

That doesn’t bode well for a Minnesota team that hits the road next Sunday to take on the New Orleans Saints in the Big Easy. The Saints opened up as four-point favorites for the NFC Championship game, but the line quickly moved to -4.5 once the action started coming in.

In addition, this is the first time in NFC history that every playoff game will be held indoors.
