Jahri Evans is about to get paid

It’s about time we started talking about the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints.

And with the way they do things in the Big Easy, it’s no surprise that the first time we’re hearing about the team is in regards to a big contract.

The Saints are on the verge of making restricted free agent offensive guard Jahri Evans one of the highest-paid guards in league history, according to a tweet from Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

According to Schefter, "the deal could come any day now."

The 6’4”, 318-pound Evans was a rock on the offensive line for the Saints last season during their Super Bowl run. The four-year veteran has started all 64 regular season games since being drafted by the Who Dats in 2006.
