Jermichael Finley hits the shelf

The hits just keep on coming for the Green Bay Packers.

Per a report from ESPN.com, Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday and is expected to be out of action for the next three weeks.

Finley injured the knee in Sunday’s 16-13 overtime loss to the Washington Redskins. On the year, Finley currently ranks eighth in scoring among fantasy tight ends (21-301-1 on 26 targets.

We’d recommend you pick up backup tight end Donald Lee is you’re in desperate need of a subsititue, however he’s expected to miss a couple of weeks with a shoulder injury.

Good thing the 2010 tight end class is so stacked. If you need some help, look for Brent Celek, Marcedes Lewis and Aaron Hernandez.
