Jets say goodbye to Jerricho Cotchery
Jerricho Cotchery’s time in New York has come to an end.
Cotchery scored 18 touchdowns in seven seasons with the Jets.
After seven years with Gang Green, the Jets released the veteran wide receiver on Thursday, per ESPN. The move doesn’t come as much of a surprise as the team is rumored to be interested in signing free agent wideout Derek Mason, who met with Jets officials earlier in the day.
During his seven seasons with the Jets, Cotchery posted back-to-back 80+-reception seasons in 2006-2007, finishing with a total of 358 catches in 103 career games.
We have a feeling the 29-year-old won’t be out of work for long.
