Joey Galloway has a new home
Joey Galloway will be 39-years-old by the time Week 11 of the regular season rolls around. For a wide receiver in the National Football League, that’s not just old, it’s ancient.
Which is why it makes all the sense in the world that the free agent wide receiver should land on the same team that recently signed long-in-the-tooth running backs Larry Johnson and Willie Parker.
Per a tweet from Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Galloway and the Washington Redskins have reached an agreement on a one-year contract.
The Redskins are now the sixth team in the NFL that Galloway has played for during his 15-year-career, although technically, he never racked up any stats with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009.
Here’s hoping he finds a little more luck with Donovan McNabb and the ‘Skins in 2010.
