Kiffin, USC set for a big weekend
Lane Kiffin may no longer be coaching in the SEC, but that hasn’t stopped him from going after the abundance of high school talent that resides within the conference’s borders.
With National Signing Day just five days away (February 3), Kiffin’s Trojans are looking to make a big splash this weekend as the University of Southern California is set to host a slew of official visitors, four of which either live in Florida or have already committed to or decommitted from an SEC school.
Here are some of the players that Kiffin is targeting:
Dorsey has already decommitted from the University of Florida, Robey has given a verbal commitment to the University of Georgia, Green appeared headed for Tennessee before Kiffin left and Loften verbally committed to the University of Tennessee-Kiffin’s old school-earlier this week.
Whether or not Kiffin will be able to land any or all four of these prized recruits remains uncertain at this point.
The only thing that is certain is that no matter what these four prospects have said in the past, it doesn’t change the fact that they will be on USC’s campus this weekend.
