Kolb's day is over

PHILADELPHIA—Things just went from bad to worse.

After completing just 5 of 10 passes for 24 yards and no touchdowns in the first half against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, quarterback Kevin Kolb is out for the game with a concussion.

The Eagles’ new starting quarterback suffered the injury after getting decked from behind in the second quarter by linebacker Clay Matthews.

On a side note, Matthews has been a beast on the field today. The guy is constantly flying to the football and is making plays all over the gridiron.

As if the Kolb injury wasn’t enough, I’ve got more bad news for you, Eagles fans. Defensive quarterback and starting middle linebacker Stewart Bradley suffered a first half concussion as well and is done for the day.

Michael Vick is now in at quarterback for an Eagles team that is trailing 20-3 in the third quarter.
