Landry to visit with the Seahawks (update)

Here’s some news about a free agent safety not named Rolle or Clark.

Four-year veteran Dawan Landry will visit with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a league source.

The Ravens placed a second-round tender on the restricted free agent this past week, meaning if the Seahawks are serious about adding him, they'll have to give up a draft pick to Baltimore as compensation.

Landry—who was drafted by the Ravens in 2006—recorded 89 tackles (70 solo) and four interceptions in 16 starts for Baltimore in 2009.

The 6’0”, 210-pound safety out of Georgia Tech could provide a boost for a Seahawks defense that ranked 30th against the pass (245.4 yds/gm) in 2009.

UPDATE: Dawan Landry is NOT scheduled to visit with the Seahawks. However, free agent defensive end Dwan Edwards will be meeting with the team. My apologies.
