LeSean McCoy suffers broken rib
The hits just keep on coming for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Head coach Andy Reid announced earlier today that running back LeSean McCoy suffered a broken rib in Sunday’s loss to the Washington Redskins.
The good news is that McCoy kept playing with the injury. The bad news is that his status for Sunday night’s game at San Francisco is questionable, at best. We likely won’t know more about McCoy’s situation until later in the week. As of now, he could be a game-time decision.
In standard scoring formats, McCoy currently ranks third in fantasy points among running backs, with 64.
Should McCoy be held out in Week 5, free agent acquisition and former New Orleans Saint Mike Bell would likely get the start.
