No surprise here: Terrelle Pryor lands in Oakland
After running an unofficial 4.41 40-yard dash at his Pro Day on Saturday, many predicted Terrelle Pryor was headed for the Bay Area.
ICONPryor will trade the silver and red for silver and black.
It’s now official.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted Monday afternoon that Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders spent a third-round pick in the 2011 supplemental draft to land the former Ohio State quarterback. As a result, the Raiders have now given up their 2012 third-round selection.
The Raiders are currently without a 2012 fourth-round pick, so it was believed that if the team was going to pull the trigger, it had to be in the third.
BetOnline.com had Pryor going in the third round listed at +225 and Pryor heading to the AFC posted at -125.
Next up: Pryor has to decide whether or not he wants to appeal the five-game suspension he's currently facing.
