Ocho looking to get his kicks in South Beach
Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is looking to put on a show in Sunday’s NFL Pro Bowl.
The Cincinnati wide receiver has been working on his kickoffs, punts and field goals during AFC Pro Bowl practice this week in the hopes of showing the coaches that he’s ready for the big stage.
“Yesterday was punting, today was kickoffs, tomorrow will be field goals,” Ochocinco told the Associated Press on Thursday. “I don’t know. We’ll see what happens.”
And it’s not like the six-time Pro Bowler hasn’t done this before.
Ocho converted an extra point-and a crucial one-in a 7-6 victory over the New England Patriots during a preseason game back in August.
“It shouldn’t be a problem. If they’re going to let me do it, I’m going to do it early in the game before they get serious and the start to play for real.”
If the AFC coaching staff lets Ochocinco attempt a field goal on Sunday, how far do you think he is capable of converting from?
