Osi will report, but won't speak to Jerry Reese "ever again"
The New York Giants aren’t exactly off to the best of starts this season.
Nnamdi Asomugha is now playing for division-rival Philadelphia, running back Ahmad Bradshaw has yet to re-sign and now a very big distraction is on his way to training camp.
ICONWill Umenyiora ever again play for the Giants?
Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that veteran defensive end Osi Umenyiora has ended his holdout and is currently on his way to training camp.
But it doesn’t end there.
Per Vacchiano, Umenyiora has no plans to speak to general manager Jerry Reese “ever again” and is still looking for either a trade out of town or a new contract. In addition, Umenyiora is “anxious” to speak with the media.
This thing has all the makings of a big-time distraction that could cause a major problem in the New York locker room, should the issue not be solved immediately.
The best way to remedy it still remains to be seen, but the Giants had better think of something quick.
