Reggie Bush out 4-6 weeks
The New Orleans Saints may have pulled out a nice win Monday night in San Francisco, but they lost a big piece of their offense in the process.
Reggie Bush is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks after suffering a fractured fibula in his right leg during the fourth quarter of New Orleans’ 25-22 win over San Francisco, per a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.
Bush has only carried the ball 7 times for 18 yards with zero touchdowns in two games this season, but his value lies in his ability to contribute in the passing game. On the season, Bush has caught 9 passes for 63 yards and one score.
If you have own Bush and have an IR spot available, take advantage of it until a better player on your roster goes down.
If you don’t have an IR spot and you play in a standard scoring league, feel free to unload Bush. If you play in a PPR league, we advise you to consider holding onto the former USC standout unless a better option comes along OR you are already very deep at running back.
New Orleans is on the bye in Week 10, which means Bush miss at least the next 4-6 games, and then if he comes back healthy, will have to sit out Week 10 on the bye.
