Report: Harvin expected to play
If the Vikings want to get out of New Orleans with a win today, they’ll need to be firing on all cylinders against the league’s No. 1 offense.
Having dynamic wideout Percy Harvin in the lineup is a good start.
Barring a late setback, Harvin is expected to play in tonight’s NFC Championship game in the Big Easy, according to ESPN.com. The rookie out of Florida has been suffering from migraines that held him out of practice for two days this past week.
The Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year caught 60 passes for 790 yards while scoring six touchdowns in 15 games for the NFC North-Champion Vikings this season. Harvin also added two scores and boasted a 27.5 yard-average returning kickoffs this year.
The Vikings and Saints square-off tonight at 6:40pm eastern.
