Schaub lands on AFC Pro Bowl team
Matt Schaub is headed to the Pro Bowl.
The Houston Texans quarterback-who many feel was snubbed in this year’s voting-will be replacing Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in Miami.
Brady pulled out of the NFL’s All-Star event due to numerous injuries he has been battling, which include his ribs, shoulder and finger-to name a few.
Schaub, who will be making his first Pro Bowl appearance, will be joining quarterbacks Peyton Manning (Indianapolis) and Philip Rivers (San Diego) on the AFC team.
The Houston quarterback led the NFL in passing this season with 4,770 yards. Schaub threw 29 touchdown passes and posted a QB Rating of 98.6 while leading the Texans to a 9-7 record-their best in franchise history.
