Schaub sent to hospital with knee problem
Interesting news out of Houston Wednesday as quarterback Matt Schaub was admitted to the hospital with a bursa sac (knee) problem, per a tweet from Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com.
There’s no word as of yet regarding whether or not Schaub had surgery, but head coach Gary Kubiak said that the quarterback is expected to rejoin the team on Thursday. Backup signal-caller Dan Orlovsky took the first team reps during practice on Wednesday.
The Texans head to New York on Sunday to face a Jets defense that is giving up an average of 19.4 fantasy points per week to opposing quarterbacks (12th most in NFL).
We’ll keep you posted on any developments regarding Schaub’s status for Week 11.
