Source: Decker to visit Patriots, Broncos and Chiefs

After an impressive 2008 season consisting of 84 receptions for 1,074 yards, seven touchdowns and a spot on the first-team All Big Ten roster—Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker was poised for a monster senior campaign.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan.

That’s not to say Decker didn’t play well—50 receptions for 758 yards and five scores in eight games—but the big wideout’s final year at Minnesota was cut short when he suffered a Lisfranc sprain in October, ending his season.

After undergoing surgery in November and working himself back in to shape, Decker is now making the rounds.

The 6’3”, 217-pounder has upcoming visits scheduled with the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs, according to a league source.

Decker—the NFP’s No. 4-ranked wide receiverscored a 43 in the Wonderlic test at February’s combine, tops among all prospects.
