Source: Eagles reach agreement with Weaver

That was fast.

Updating a previous report, the Philadelphia Eagles have reached an agreement with All Pro fullback Leonard Weaver, according to a league source.

Weaver—who earned a trip to the Pro Bowl in his only season with the Eagles—has landed a three-year contract worth $10 million, with $5 million guaranteed.

The five-year veteran out of Carson-Newman carried the ball 70 times for 323 yards with two touchdowns in 2009. Weaver also caught 15 passes for 140 yards and two more scores in 16 games last season.

Update: New reports are indicating that the contract is worth a total of $11 million with $6-6.5 million guaranteed.
