Tebow lining up workouts
Now that the first three days of free agency are in the books, we can resume our daily coverage of “Tebow Mania.”
The former Heisman Trophy winner will unveil his new passing mechanics to the world on March 17 during Florida’s pro day. Tebow has been in the process of changing his throwing motion and improving his delivery to make himself more “NFL-ready.”
Two teams that are already expressing interest in the former Florida Gator include the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks, who have lined up individual workouts for Tebow after his pro day, according to Gil Brandt of NFL.com.
As of the current moment, the Seahawks hold the sixth and 14th picks in the first round, while the Bills will be drafting ninth. All three picks are too early in the draft to consider using on Tebow.
Arguably the most popular player in college football history, Tebow has been working out with Noel Mazzone (Arizona State offensive coordinator) and Marc Trestman (head coach, Montreal Alouettes) in preparation for his pro day on the 17th.
While his mechanics are clearly the primary focus of his pro day preparation, let’s hope Tebow’s attention to the air doesn’t take away his skills on the ground.
