The mess in Minnesota
By now, you’ve probably heard that the roof collapsed at the Metrodome late Saturday evening, forcing the Giants-Vikings game to be postponed indefinitely.
As of the current moment, the NFL does not have a solution for this mess. The league is looking into alternative venues to host the game, but nothing has been finalized as of yet. In addition, the possibility does exist that this game may not be played until Tuesday night.
Here’s my plan of attack, since I currently own Ahmad Bradshaw and Adrian Peterson in the 2010 NFP Fantasy Expert’s League:
I’m going to start both players as if nothing has changed. The way I see it, there is NO WAY the companies that host fantasy leagues can treat this situation like a bye week if for some crazy reason this game was not played in Week 14.
Even if this showdown gets postponed to later in the year, I would imagine the stats amassed by the fantasy players from New York and Minnesota would revert back to Week 14.
I know it’s a risky play, but there’s no way in hell I’m sitting Adrian Peterson this week.
