Vegas odds on the move after McNabb trade
Donovan McNabb hasn’t even been a member of the Washington Redskins for 24 hours, but his impact on the team has already been felt around the country.
Analysts and experts have spent the majority of their Mondays breaking down the trade and trying to figure out who came out on top and whether or not this move will come back to haunt the Eagles. In the end, none of these questions will have answers until both teams take the field in 2010.
But in addition to the locker rooms in Philadelphia and Washington, there’s another place feeling the effect of the McNabb trade: Las Vegas.
Prior to the trade, the odds of the Redskins winning next year’s Super Bowl were 55 to 1.
After the trade, the Skins sit at 30 to 1, according to Bodog.com.
It’s worked out a little differently for the Birds, who opened the day on Sunday at 16 to 1 to win the Super Bowl, but now find themselves at 20 to 1.
Call it the McNabb effect.
