Week 3 Final Injury Report

OUT: Player definitely will not play.
DOUBTFUL: 75% chance player will not play.
QUESTIONABLE: 50-50 chance player will not play.
PROBABLE: Virtual certainty player will be available for normal duties.

Here’s the final updated injury report for Week 3:

Erik Coleman, S, Atlanta Falcons (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Coleman did not practice all week—which is a bad sign—and is listed as questionable for Sunday. IDP owners are advised to look for another option.

Michael Turner, RB, Atlanta Falcons (groin, PROBABLE): Turner was held to limited reps on Wednesday but was a full participant in practice on both Thursday and Friday. He is expected to start Sunday at New Orleans.

Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans Saints (fibula, OUT): Bush is OUT for the next 4-6 weeks.

Paul Posluszny, LB, Buffalo Bills (knee, OUT): Posluszny will not play Sunday at New England.

Antwan Odom, DE, Cincinnati Bengals (wrist, QUESTIONABLE): Odom was held to limited reps in practice all week and will likely be a game-time decision Sunday at Carolina.

Terrell Owens, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (back, PROBABLE): Owens was a full participant in practice on Thursday, but was held to limited reps on both Wednesday and Friday. He is expected to start Sunday at Carolina.

Steve Smith, WR, Carolina Panthers (thigh, PROBABLE): Smith was held to limited reps in practice all three days this week. However, the good news is that he is expected to start Sunday vs. Cincinnati.

Jake Delhomme, QB, Cleveland Browns (ankle, DOUBTFUL): Delhomme did not practice at all this week and will likely miss Sunday’s game at Baltimore. Fantasy owners should look for another option.

Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland Browns (thigh, QUESTIONABLE): Harrison missed all three days of practice this week, but is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Baltimore. Owners are advised to leave him on the bench. Even if he plays, Harrison has a tough defensive matchup and will be splitting carries with Peyton Hillis.

Derrick Mason, WR, Baltimore Ravens (knee, PROBABLE): Mason missed practice on Wednesday and was held to limited reps on both Thursday and Friday. Owners should expect to see him on the field Sunday vs. Cleveland.

Ray Rice, RB, Baltimore Ravens (ankle, PROBABLE): Rice has been bothered by an ankle injury, but he was a full participant in practice all three days this week. Expect him to start on Sunday vs. Cleveland.

Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys (head, PROBABLE): Despite suffering a concussion in Week 2 vs. Chicago, Witten looks like he will be able to start Sunday at Houston.

Andre Johnson, WR, Houston Texans (ankle, QUESTIONABLE): Johnson sat out practice on Wednesday and was held to limited reps on both Thursday and Friday due to an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2 at Washington. Owners are advised to wait until Sunday morning before making a final decision.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions (shoulder, OUT): Stafford is OUT for Week 3.

Louis Delmas, S, Detroit Lions (groin, biceps, PROBABLE): Delmas sat out Wednesday’s practice but took limited reps on Thursday and Friday. He is expected to start Sunday at Minnesota.

Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota Vikings (hip, PROBABLE): Harvin did not practice on Wednesday, but took limited reps on both Thursday and Friday. The good news is that he’s been listed as “probable,” which means he will likely start.

Joseph Addai, RB, Indianapolis Colts (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Addai got better as the week went on. He missed practice on Wednesday, took limited reps on Thursday and was a full participant on Friday. However, he will likely be a game-time decision Sunday at Denver.

Pierre Garcon, WR, Indianapolis Colts (hamstring, QUESTIONABLE): Garcon got worse as the week went on. He took limited reps on Wednesday but did not practice Thursday or Friday. Owners should start looking for another option.

Knowshon Moreno, RB, Denver Broncos (hamstring, OUT): Moreno is OUT for Week 3 due to a hamstring injury he suffered Friday morning during practice.

Michael Bush, RB, Oakland Raiders (thumb, PROBABLE): It looks like Bush will be making his return to the lineup this Sunday at Arizona. Be advised: with the way Darren McFadden has been playing, Bush’s role will likely be limited.

Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona Cardinals (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Breaston was held to limited reps in all three practice sessions this week. He will likely be a game-time decision, but owners should expect to see him on the field.

Beanie Wells, RB, Arizona Cardinals (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Wells was held to limited reps in practice all week, but is expected to see his first game action this Sunday vs. Oakland. We advise fantasy owners to exercise caution here. Tim Hightower will likely handle the bulk of the workload.

Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (knee, PROBABLE): MJD took limited reps on both Wednesday and Thursday, but was a full participant in practice on Friday. Expect him to start Sunday vs. Philadelphia.

Hines Ward, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers (calf, PROBABLE): Ward was held to limited reps in practice on Thursday, but was full-go the rest of the week. Expect him to start Sunday at Tampa Bay.

Kellen Winslow, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (knee, PROBABLE): Winslow sat out practice on Thursday and was held to limited reps the rest of the week. However, he is expected to start Sunday when Pittsburgh comes to town.

Ryan Mathews, RB, San Diego Chargers (ankle, DOUBTFUL): Mathews did not practice all week after suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 2 vs. Jacksonville. Although he is listed as doubtful for Week 3, owners should expect to see him on the bench vs. Seattle.

Malcom Floyd, WR, San Diego Chargers (hamstring, PROBABLE): Floyd sat out practice on Wednesday but was a full participant on both Thursday and Friday. He is expected to start Sunday at Seattle.

Mario Manningham, WR, New York Giants (illness, PROBABLE): Manningham missed practice on Wednesday, but was a full participant on both Thursday and Friday. Expect to see him in the lineup on Sunday vs. Tennessee.

Clinton Portis, RB, Washington Redskins (wrist, QUESTIONABLE): Portis was a full participant in practice all week, so owners should expect to see him in the starting lineup Sunday at St. Louis.

Darrelle Revis, CB, New York Jets (hamstring, OUT): Revis will not play Sunday night against the Miami Dolphins.
