Week 3 Wednesday Injury Report

All 32 NFL teams got back to work on Wednesday. Here’s the rundown on which players are currently battling some injury concerns heading into Week 3:

Michael Turner, RB, Atlanta Falcons (groin): Turner was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday, but is expected to be ready to start for Week 1.

Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans Saints (fibula): Bush is OUT for the next six weeks, but the good news is that his injury does not require surgery.

Kevin Faulk, RB, New England Patriots (knee): Faulk is OUT for the season after tearing his ACL in Week 2 vs. the Jets.

Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots (foot): Edelman was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Antwan Odom, DE, Cincinnati Bengals (wrist): Odom was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Terrell Owens, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (back): Owens was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Steve Smith, WR, Carolina Panthers (thigh): Smith was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland Browns (thigh): Harrison did NOT practice on Wednesday due to a thigh injury.

Derrick Mason, WR, Baltimore Ravens (knee): Mason did NOT practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury.

Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys (ribs): Bryant did NOT practice on Wednesday due to a rib injury.

Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys (head): Witten was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday after suffering a concussion in Week 2.

Andre Johnson, WR, Houston Texans (ankle): Johnson did NOT practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury.

Owen Daniels, TE, Houston Texans (knee): Daniels was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Louis Delmas, S, Detroit Lions (groin, biceps, calf): Delmas did NOT practice on Wednesday.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions (right shoulder): Stafford did NOT practice on Wednesday and is not expected to play in Week 2 at Minnesota.

Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota Vikings (hip, illness): Harvin was held out of practice on Wednesday due to a hip injury suffered in Week 2 and yet another migraine.

Bernard Berrian, WR, Minnesota Vikings (knee): Berrian didn’t practice on Wednesday, but who cares? It’s not like he makes a difference when he’s on the field on Sundays.

Joseph Addai, RB, Indianapolis Colts (knee): Addai did NOT practice on Wednesday.

Pierre Garcon, WR, Indianapolis Colts (hamstring): Garcon was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Michael Bush, RB, Oakland Raiders (thumb): Bush was a full participant in practice on Wednesday after having the stitches in his thumb taken out earlier in the week. He will be treating this week of practice like a normal game week and could play on Sunday.

Beanie Wells, RB, Arizona Cardinals (knee): Wells was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona Cardinals (knee): Breaston was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (ankle): MJD was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Dennis Dixon, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers (knee): Dixon did NOT practice on Wednesday and is OUT for Week 3.

Cadillac Williams, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (hamstring): Williams was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday.

Ryan Mathews, RB, San Diego Chargers (ankle): Mathews is battling a high ankle sprain, but is hopeful he can play in Week 3. Owners should take caution as a high ankle sprain can take up to ten weeks to get back to 100%.

Mario Manningham, WR, New York Giants (illness): Manningham missed practice on Wednesday due to an illness.

Darrelle Revis, CB, New York Jets (hamstring): Revis did NOT practice on Wednesday and is OUT for Week 3 at Miami.
