Week 7 Thursday Injury Report

Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona Cardinals: Breaston (knee) was held to limited reps in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. However, while it is no guarantee, he is expected to make his return to the lineup on Sunday at Seattle.

Ray Rice, RB, Baltimore Ravens: Rice (ankle) was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday, but was a full participant during Thursday’s session. He is expected to start Sunday vs. Buffalo.

Todd Heap, TE, Baltimore Ravens: Heap (neck) missed practice on Wednesday and was held to limited reps during Thursday’s session.

Josh Cribbs, WR/KR, Cleveland Browns: Cribbs missed both practice sessions this week due to a concussion he sustained in Week 6 vs. Pittsburgh.

Jake Delhomme & Seneca Wallace, QBs, Cleveland Browns: Delhomme and Wallace missed both practice sessions so far this week due to ankle injuries. Head coach Eric Mangini has already announced that rookie Colt McCoy will get the start this Sunday at New Orleans.

Peyton Hillis, RB, Cleveland Browns: Hillis (thigh) was held to limited reps in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans Saints: Just an update that Bush (fibula) is still NOT practicing with the Saints.

Pierre Thomas, RB, New Orleans Saints: The bad news continues as Thomas was held out of Wednesday and Thursday’s practice sessions due to an ankle injury. No word on whether or not he will be able to play Sunday vs. Cleveland.

David Garrard, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Garrard (concussion) was held out of Wednesday and Thursday’s practice sessions. It looks like he won’t be able to play this Sunday at Kansas City.

Fred Taylor, RB, New England Patriots: Taylor (toe) was held out of Wednesday and Thursday’s practice sessions.

Malcom Floyd, WR, San Diego Chargers: According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune, Floyd (hamstring) is definitely out for Week 7 vs. New England.

Antonio Gates, TE, San Diego Chargers: Bad news for Gates (toe) owners as the Pro Bowl tight end has now missed both practice sessions this week.

Legedu Naanee, WR, San Diego Chargers: Naanee (hamstring) was held out of practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Darren McFadden, RB, Oakland Raiders: McFadden (hamstring) was held to limited reps in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The Oakland Quarterback Situation: Bruce Gradkowski (shoulder) took limited reps on Wednesday but was held out of Thursday’s practice session. Jason Campbell (knee) took limited reps on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Eddie Royal, WR, Denver Broncos: Royal (groin) was held out of practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

DeSean Jackson, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: Jackson has not practiced this week and is not expected to play Sunday at Tennessee due to a concussion he sustained in Week 6 vs. Atlanta.

LeSean McCoy, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: McCoy sat out of practice on Wednesday due to a rib injury, but was a full participant in Thursday’s session. He’s expected to start Sunday at Tennessee.

Michael Vick, QB, Philadelphia Eagles: Vick (rib) took limited reps on Wednesday but was full-go on Thursday. However, Kevin Kolb has already been announced as the starter for Week 7.

Vince Young, QB, Tennessee Titans: Young (knee, ankle) was held out of practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Bo Scaife, TE, Tennessee Titans: Scaife (groin) was held out of practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Vernon Davis, TE, San Francisco 49ers: Davis (knee) was held to limited reps on Wednesday but was a full participant in Thursday’s practice session. He is expected to start Sunday at Carolina.

Steve Smith, WR, New York Giants: Smith (ankle) was a full participant in both practice sessions this week.

Chris Cooley, TE, Washington Redskins: Cooley has taken limited reps in both practice sessions this week due to a concussion he sustained last Sunday night vs. Indianapolis. It looks like he may start Sunday at Chicago.

Lance Briggs & Brian Urlacher, LBs, Chicago Bears: Briggs (ankle) and Urlacher (groin) did not practice on Wednesday, but returned to take limited reps during Thursday’s session.

Brett Favre, QB, Minnesota Vikings: Favre (ankle, right elbow) was held to limited reps during Wednesday and Thursday’s practice sessions.

Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota Vikings: Havin (hamstring) made a surprise appearance on the injury report Thursday. He was a full participant during Wednesday’s session, so this could be a new injury he is dealing with.

Donald Driver, WR, Green Bay Packers: Driver has missed both practice sessions this week due to a quadriceps injury.
