Browns awarded Nick McDonald off waivers from Chargers
<p> The Cleveland Browns were awarded center Nick McDonald off waivers from the San Diego Chargers.</p> <p> McDonald is in his third NFL season.</p> <p> He was signed by the Green Bay Packers after going undrafted in 2010 out of Grand Valley State.</p> <p> McDonald has appeared in 16 games with three starts. He has seen action at right guard, left guard and center.</p> <p> He appeared in 12 games with one start with the Patriots in 2012. He was waived by New England during final roster cuts prior to last season.
