Chris Rainey broke team rule, released by Colts

<p> On one day, Chris Rainey made heads turn at Colts training camp with his blazing speed.</p> <p> Two days later, he's been released by the organization. On Monday, Indianapolis announced that it was waiving Rainey, who became famous for his runaway speed when he was at the University of Florida.</p> <p> Coach Chuck Pagano told reporters, via, that <a href="">Rainey was released due to a violation of team rules</a>.</p> <p> "It was an in-house deal, that's all I'm going to say about that," Pagano said.</p> <p> Rainey was expected to have a chance to earn more playing time after it was revealed that Vick Ballard sustained a torn Achilles and will be out for the season.</p> <p> With Ballard out with an injury and Rainey off of the team, the Colts will look at only Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw as the primary ball carriers for the 2014 season.</p> <p> Follow me on Twitter: <a href="">@JasonHButt</a></p>
