McFadden doesn't need surgery
After getting off to a hot start this season, Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden has been hampered by a Week 7 foot injury that has recently been revealed to be a Lisfranc sprain.
ICONRun DMC may not require surgery, but there is still no timetable set for his return.
Despite missing six consecutive games since the injury was sustained on October 23rd, Raiders head coach Hue Jackson reiterated that McFadden does not require surgery.
According to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times, Jackson is also confident that the injury will not end the season of the former Arkansas Razorback star.
"No, he does not need surgery. That much I do know," said Hue Jackson. "You guys can write that. Darren McFadden does not need surgery.”
Still, Darren McFadden remains without a timetable for return and has not yet been cleared to practice.
Michael Bush -- who's rushed for seven touchdowns and a career high 764 yards -- is expected to start in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions.
