1-4 Ravens make nine roster moves Tuesday

The Ravens executed nine roster moves in the midst of a 1-4 season. They cut cornerback Rashaan Melvin and outside linebacker Jason Babin. Babin had no tackles and no sacks and was prone to penalties. The Ravens signed former cornerback Shareece Wright and placed cornerback Will Davis on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. They promoted cornerbacks Asa Jackson and Charles James II from the practice squad. The Ravens signed the following players to the practice squad: wide receiver Daniel Brown, running back Akeem Hunt and tight end Konrad Reuland.
