49ers finish signing entire draft class
The San Francisco 49ers worked overtime to get all 10 of their draft picks signed in time for the beginning of training camp this morning.
Defensive end Aldon Smith, the first-round draft pick from Missouri, was the last to sign. It’s an impressive feat by the front office to crank through that many contracts, and surely it took cooperation from the agents involved.
The 49ers are believed to be the first club to have all of its picks inked on time. More deals are coming in, just about by the minute.
