49ers get Anquan Boldin for 6th round pick
The Baltimore Ravens wanted Anquan Boldin to take a pay cut he wasn’t interested in accepting.
Now, they’ve found a new home for him.
The Super Bowl champion is heading to the Super Bowl runner-up as the Ravens have dealt the veteran wide receiver to the San Francisco 49ers for a sixth-round draft pick, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.
The Ravens had asked Boldin to trim $2 million off his base salary of $6 million. He refused. The Ravens wanted to reduce his pay because his cap number for this season was $7.5 million. Now, he will be a playmaker for the 49ers.
Boldin caught 22 passes for 380 yards and four touchdowns in the Ravens’ playoff run. He’ll try to help the 49ers get back to the Super Bowl.
