49ers sign injured Glenn Dorsey to extension

The San Francisco 49ers havfe signed defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey to a two-year contract extension.

Dorsey may be out for the season with a torn biceps.

“Glenn is a true pro who has quickly become a valued contributor to our organization both on and off the field,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said. " “He is a quick study and a very good football player that has earned this extension, and we look forward to his future contributions.”

Dorsey is a former Kansas City Chiefs first-round draft pick from LSU.

Dorsey signed iwth the 49ers last year.

He played in every game, starting 15 of them.
