49ers' Vernon Davis downplays hamstring injury

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis downplayed the severity of a hamstring injury suffered Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks.

The athletic tight end provided an update on his condition via his official Twitter account.

“No need to worry y’all,” Davis wrote. “My leg is feeling great just need a little rest til kickoff according to the docs.”

The 49ers play the Indianapolis Colts at home Sunday.

Davis has nine receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns this season.

For his career, Davis has caught 354 passes for 4,469 yards and 42 touchdowns.
