A draft pick gets done
Mason Foster might not be the first draft pick to agree to a contract in the post-lockout NFL.
If he’s not, he’s one of the first.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik announced the club has reached an agreement with the third-round draft pick from Washington, ensuring he will be on the field from the very beginning of training camp.
Some reports have indicated that it will be slow going for clubs and draft picks because of the new rules that are in place. But any time these rookies miss in training camp will set then back in their bids to be contributing performers early in the season.
