Aaron Hernandez found guilty of first-degree murder

Former New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder. A Fall River, Massachusetts jury found that Hernandez was guilty of murdering Odin Lloyd due to extreme atrocity and cruelty. He has been given a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Hernandez was also found guilty of the weapons and ammunition charges. Hernandez was expressionless when the verdict was rendered. His fiancee and mother broke into tears.
