Adam Gase to interview with Falcons, 49ers, Bears

Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase is in heavy demand.

He'll interview with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears.

Last year, he declined overtures from the Cleveland Browns.

“It’s a great opportunity to be able to do this, and for these guys to reach out and want to talk to me,” Gase said. “I’m excited about it, but I’m also excited about the fact that we have another chance to make a run. We have a good team. Last year we fell short, and this is another opportunity for us to try to get one.

“I felt like it was the right choice for me to do this this weekend. And once that’s over, we’ll move on to whoever we end up playing.”

Gase has been endorsed as Peyton Manning.

“I don’t think you need me to sit up here and campaign for him,” Manning said. “Last year I talked to a couple teams on behalf of him that reached out to me, and that may happen again, so I’m certainly glad to share my thoughts. I think it’s pretty well-documented my thoughts on him.

“But I’m excited that he has the opportunity that he’s going to have this weekend. He deserves it. I think the teams that he talks to will be impressed.”
