Adrian Peterson reporting to practice today

Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson told ESPN he's reporting to organized team activities today. "I decided to come back just to get around my teammates and the coaching staff," Peterson said. "There's never been any love lost with those guys. Basically it's time for me to come in and test the waters and re-familiarize myself with our offense and the direction they're trying to go in." Peterson is due a $12.75 million base salary this season. He has complained before about his nonguaranteed salary. Peterson has also been upset with the organization for a perceived lack of support during his child abuse case. Now, he's apparently willing to let bygones be bygones.
