Adrian Peterson's court case pushed back again

Adrian Peterson’s court case in Houston has been pushed back again.

The Minnesota Vikings running back was in court on Monday and prosecutors agreed to push back the date to Sept. 27, according to the Associated Press.

Peterson’s high-profile attorney Rusty Hardin said hearings will be held on that date and Nov. 15. Peterson was charged with resisting arrest following a July 7 incident in a Houston nightclub. He has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Peterson is on the physically unable to perform list as he works to return from surgery to repair a torn ACL. The Vikings are hopeful he will be ready for the start of the season. We’ll see what direction this case takes next.
