Agent for Fisher "will listen to anyone"

With Monday's firings of Tony Sparano in Miami and Todd Haley in Kansas City, on the heels of Jack Del Rio's dismissal in Jacksonville, the rumor mill is already getting cranked up.

The usual suspects like Bill Cowher and Jon Gruden have some company this season as former Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher will also be on the market. Fisher said after his departure in Tennessee after last season that he wanted to take a year off and recharge, but then wanted to coach again.

It appears he could have that chance, and his agent Marvin Demoff told the Miami Herald that he and his client "will listen to anyone."

There are those who believe Fisher could be looking for a high-profile spot to land, and teams like the Dolphins and San Diego Chargers (if Norv Turner is shown the door as expected) might fit the bill. There is the Cowboys job, too, as Fisher and Jerry Jones have become friends by both serving on the league's Competition Committee. For now, though Jones says Jason Garrett is safe.

Stay tuned to the Fisher camp, because he is likely to be a hot commodity in the coaching carousel, due to his charisma, the stability he brought to the Titans and a reputation as a solid football coach.
