Agent says he doesn't think Adrian Peterson should play for Vikings
As the disconnect between star running back Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings continues, his agent said he doesn't think the Pro Bowl runner should play for the team again.
Peterson's agent, Ben Dogra, told reporters "I don't think it's in Adrian's best interest to play in Minnesota. Why would it be?"
Peterson is under contract for next season and the Vikings have said they don't plan to trade or cut him.
Vikings owner Mark Wilf told reporters: "The bottom line is Adrian is an important part of the Minnesota Vikings. He's represented us on and off the field. We're getting ready for the 2015 season and we fully expect him to join his teammates and be a part of what we feel is going to be a great season ahead."
So, the standoff continues.
