A.J. Green's Sunday status in doubt
The Bengals could be without receiver A.J. Green for a second consecutive week.
Green, who has an injured toe, didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday and wasn't spotted at practice on Friday, reports ESPN.com. Therefore, the likelihood of Green being able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Colts is in serious doubt.
Green had been playing on an already-injured toe before aggravating it further in practice this week. He missed last Sunday's game against the Panthers as a result, a contest that ended in a 37-37 tie. The Bengals were still able to move the ball offensively without Green, with running back Gio Bernard having a spectacular day.
However, the Bengals are much more explosive with Green in the lineup. However, it's better to let Green heal in the short term so that Cincinnati, 3-1-1, will ahve him down the stretch of the regular season.
